Opportunity Summary:

The GDance Fellowship Scheme GDance's Fellowship Scheme is designed to enable a range of Dance Leaders, Producers and Artists to achieve their potential through meeting a tailored, agreed set of personal aims. The benefits, dependent on the aims of each Fellow, can include: - mentoring from a professional choreographer, Dance Leader or producer / manager - a contribution to travel and/or training costs to attend courses, performances and conferences - free places on GDance courses - opportunities to shadow, and benefit from observations with, experienced dance practitioners - assisting at GDance events and / or in the office or studio - self-reflection, evaluation and reporting on learning GDance also work closely with the University of Gloucester to host at least one placement student per year. Organisation Information:

GDance is a production and training company specialist in inclusive practice. Working with a range of partners, GDance aims to effect real change and to address barriers to participation in, and progress through, the arts sector. GDance: - produces high quality professional inclusive work, supporting the development of emerging disabled choreographers, leaders and performers - works strategically with local and national arts and education partners to improve inclusive practice and pathways for artists and young people facing disabling barriers - provides inclusion training, consultancy and youth courses - delivers inspiring projects, workshops and courses for people of all ages facing challenges in their lives (with education, health and community partners) - co-ordinates a ranges of platforms, outdoor events and dance tasters - works in partnership towards the aims of arts, health and social strategies
