There are 165 music services in England, Wales and Northern Ireland which set standards and provide resources, equipment and training for music teachers in primary and secondary schools. Since September 2012, music education in England has been delivered by local Music Education Hubs. Hubs provide instrumental lessons, bands, choirs, orchestras, and other music-making opportunities in and out of school for all children in their local area. Hubs are the focus of local partnerships and aim to give all children a chance to be young musicians. To find out more about how your local music education service and/or hub supports the music education of disabled children and young people, please contact your local music service. Contact details for local music services across England, Wales and Scotland can be found here http://www.musicmark.org.uk/about-our-members/music-services-directory.
